Our Story
From Farm Shop to Fabrication Leader
In 2017, we started fabricating and providing fabrication-related services for local farmers. At first, our work was solely agricultural. Fixing, modifying and fabricating equipment and structures around the farm.
Over time, we realized there were big improvements to be made to the way many pole buildings were going up. Posts were going straight into the ground. Floors weren’t draining properly. Buildings were shifting, heaving and moving long before they should have.
Seeing these issues again and again on the farm, in commercial yards and in industrial settings pushed us to look closer at foundations. That’s when we started developing our steel transition column and floor drain system. Solutions designed specifically for the way farmers and business owners actually use their buildings.

We Build On Experience
Farm to Fab Steelworx began as a small farm-based fabrication shop in 2017. What started as a way to improve our own farm soon turned into a full-time focus on building better foundations for others.
The first two buildings ever constructed with our steel transition columns are on our own farm. They house our equipment and machinery and have gone through years of real-world use.
Because we installed the systems ourselves and live with them every day, we understand exactly how they work, how they should be set up and how they perform over time. That hands-on experience is built into every recommendation we make for your project.
How It Works
We replace traditional wood-in-ground posts with steel transition columns anchored in concrete. This creates a stronger, more stable foundation and eliminates the most common failure point in pole buildings.
